Things to Do in Hutchinson Island

  • Bathtub Beach

Bathtub Beach of Florida, in Stuart, has always been a favorite beach for families (and locals) because of its clear waters and soft sand - and the coral reef right off shore is amazing for snorkeling and scuba diving. The reef also breaks the waves and makes the water super nice and calm – ideal for little ones who love to splash and play at the water’s edge. But it was closed for several months to make some needed improvements.

  • Florida Oceanographic Society

Florida Oceanographic Society is a non-profit organization founded in 1964 with the mission to inspire environmental stewardship of Florida’s coastal ecosystems through education, research and advocacy.
